The goal

The team was given the name "Care Paths" and a collection of patient data from Turku University Hopsital. We set the goal as an application that analyzes medical events from the data and visualizes the paths of care for different diseases.

The result

We implemented a web application for the personnel of the hospital and the regional healthcare institution. Our application provides: - Patient timeline views to visualize care events in individual level - Disease flow analysis to visualize the most common steps of any disease - Aggregated disease statistics to reveal information of the risk groups

The future

The project is delivered as a prototype for Auria Clinical Informatics' further development and introduction. The software is designed as a platform to be easily extendable with new types of analyses.
