Goal

As all mechanical devices, air conditioning too requires maintenance.

The goal of the CoolGreen capstone was to create a proof of concept model for an internet of things cloud solution for monitoring the status of air conditioner units to optimize their maintenance schedule using machine learning techniques and an IoT approach. This will save money as mechanical failures will be detected at an earlier state.

End results

Despite having issues with hardware delays, our team created a cloud based solution to gather data from a proprietary sensor network and display it on a responsive web application.

Future visions

The service will be developed further to add machine learning to help detect AC unit faults.
